Students, do you need clarification on an exam date or its details? But none of your friends are certain of the details either?

Now, instead of stressing, you can make a post to your classroom private page, asking the teacher those questions, which can notify them of your inquiry. Or, you can consult the official classroom calendar to see the exam date and details as it was posted by your teacher. This, and much more in store in our app.

As students will be the vast majority users of "My High School / My Junior High School", we at M2SApps have designed the app to be student-centered. 

• Load your scheduale into the app and have it remember where you are supposed to be and when.
• Have on-demand access information about school activities, school events, and groups, teams, and classes that you belong to. 
  - If you are looking for help with your homework, check your classroom group in which you can post a request. 
  - Any communication within that group, of course, will be visible to the creator and/or administrator of that group (usually the teacher/sponsor) so there can be collaboration and help, but this discourages cheating, or just giving out of answers

This is a safe environment for you to share thoughts, questions, or reminders with your classmates, group members, team members, teachers, and -- in some instances -- informing parents of activities.

Now, you can save everyone's time by posting to your class or group private feeds to notify your students of the changes, so now they are prepared with the proper details for the now proper time. This, and much more in store in our app.

Teachers these days have it tough! Long work hours, high expectations, and worries about the privacy and security of their students.  At M2SApps, we wanted to create a tool that would enhance the relationship between students and teachers.  Because the communication is group based, and not student to student, or student to teacher, one-on-one, there can be no worry about inappropriate communications.  Anything posted by a student in your group is visible to all members of that group and vice-versa.  Keeping this communication open to the group protects both teachers and students.  Again, all posts are easily tracked back to the actual poster, so any inappropriate posts may be deleted, or otherwise addressed in the a timely manner. 

This app makes it easy for you, the teacher, to safely communicate with all students in your class/group/team, and for students within each of these classes or groups to communicate with each other, also giving you the ability to push important details directly to the parents of your students.

School administrators and their assistants have a heavy work load without having to worry about every communication that should be going out to parents. 

For example, having all of the parents from a particular team call to see if "the game is on or not" because of questionable weather for example.  With "My High School / My Junior High School" coaches can be given no more information than the names of the students on their team, and still be able to push information out to team members and their parents.  Parents will have "Read Only" privileges to these communications, so schools will not need to worry about what a parent may message to a coach -- it just can't happen, but the coaches or team organizers will have a method to get the necessary information out to the parents.

Additionally having a simple way to push messages like "School buses are not running today, but the school is open and classes will happen as usual" on those cold winter days will also help eliminate numerous calls to the school.

These are just two examples of how our app will help simplify communications, and reduce the workload of administrators and administrative assistants. 

Parents these days are concerned for the safety of their children.  That is why we have FOIP legislation that controls the information that schools can share.  Additional concerns include "Cyber Bullying", and inappropriate communications. 

With our app, a post is never anonymous, and is always posted to a group, not just a single student. These groups always have an adult "sponsor", usually a teacher or school administrator who also sees all of the posts.  This is how M2S is addressing these concerns.  

As a parent of a child or children in a school using this app you will have access to see parent-targeted posts that are sent to or by your child, their group/class members, and group/class teacher.  You will not be able to communicate back, as that would raise other concerns with FOIP legislation, but should you see any concerning posts, you will be able to contact the school and discuss these concerns with the appropriate people.

So you say, I don't want my phone buzzing/ringing/or just "going off" with each post that my child sees.  This is not a concern with our app.  With this app, you will only be notified -- if you opt in to receive notifications -- of posts that are targeted to parents of your child's particular group/class. That way you will see important notifications like "today's soccer game has been cancelled due to snow!", or "the buses are not running today".
